It’s finally happening.

Vine Street Pub & Brewery welcomed its first guests in four years on Thursday, June 6, and will fully reopen starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.

The popular Uptown spot closed when indoor dining was shut down in March 2020 because of the pandemic, and it’s definitely taken its time reopening. It underwent a major renovation while it was shuttered, though, with big improvements to the kitchen in particular.

In March, Vine Street finally announced a reopening date, and while it had to push back its initial goal of May 15, it’s now ready to come back full force — and yes, the former cash-only spot will accept credit cards now.

Today is the last day of our summer campaign, and we’re just $450 | away from our goal!

We’re ready to deliver—but we need the resources to do it right. If Phoenix New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today to help us expand our current events coverage when it’s needed most.

It’s invited guests to visit on June 6 and 7 for some test runs, offering free food to those who got tickets via an Eventbrite link posted on Facebook, but everyone is welcome after that.

Here’s to a summer of beers, wings, burgers and fries at this Uptown favorite — finally!

Vine Street will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday; it’s located at 1700 Vine Street. Learn more here.
