Will you step up to support Westword this year?
We’re aiming to raise $50,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community. If Westword matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Rise and shine! Last year, Westword introduced a new event celebrating all things brunch. The inaugural, sold-out Out to Brunch proved to be a memorable party with plenty of delicious eats, booze and fun.
Now we’re ready to do it again. Out to Brunch 2024 will take place on Saturday, June 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at York Street Yards (3881 Steele Street), and tickets are available on Etix. General admission entry is $50 — though that will go up to $60 at the door, if there are any tickets left. General admission tickets are also available in four-packs for $160 ($40 each).
VIP access, which gets you early admission at 11 a.m. plus exclusive perks like the VIP lounge, is $75, or $85 at the door. All guests must be 21 or over and have a valid ID. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Civic Center Conservancy.
You can also opt for the Ultimate Foodie Ticket, which includes both Out to Brunch and Tacolandia on July 13 at Civic Center Park. The bundle is priced at $68 for general admission and $108 for VIP to both events.
Here are some reasons to get excited for Out to Brunch:

The Booze
Brunch without cocktails is just breakfast, and there will be plenty of libations to sip during the event (including N/A options if you’re skipping the hard stuff).
The mimosa and bubble bar will be fully stocked with a variety of juices, plus Ketel One Vodka if you prefer a screwdriver. There will also be a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar with various mixes and toppings.
VIP ticket holders also get access to a separate VIP bar.
The Fun
Other event highlights include axe throwing, a DJ who will bring the party tunes, a silent disco, a gaming zone with cornhole, ladder ball, giant Jenga, life-sized beer pong and more.
At noon and 1 p.m., head to the dance floor for a drag show hosted by Mz. America Jackson and featuring LaLa Queen and Sapphire Staxxx Bloomee.
See you at Out to Brunch!
