He missed a court date at the end of November — but disgraced developer Erik Osborn showed up in plenty of time for his trial in Denver District Court, which got under way on Monday.
The crux of this case is Osborn’s involvement with One Lincoln Park, and how he allegedly diverted money from investors to other projects — stealing, charged prosecutor Joe Morales, from partners who included “Dealing Doug” Moreland and talk-show host Tom “Lou from Littleton” Manoogian.
But Osborn attorney Robert McAllister says his client is actually the victim. “It really comes down to a credibility issue,” he told the court.
The trial is likely to continue into next week. But no matter the decision in this case, which stems from a December 2007 grand jury indictment, Osborn has more days in court to come.

It’s a developing scandal.
