It’s official: Hillary Clinton yesterday confirmed that the Obama administration is no longer fighting a “War on Terror” in its battle against al-Qaeda and militant Islam. So are those prisoners still incarcerated in Gitmo considered “terrorists”?
Some of those prisoners could soon be living at Supermax, the federal prison at Florence, Colorado, that already is home to domestic terrorists like the Unabomber and Terry Nichols, the Oklahoma City bombing co-conspirator. And Nichols doesn’t appreciate being called a “terrorist,” either.
In a lawsuit Nichols filed this month in U.S. District Court in Denver, he complained that he’s been discriminated against by prison employees, as well as the media, who label him a terrorist. “Mr. Nichols is not a terrorist,” he wrote.
By the way, as the Associated Press reports, Nichols doesn’t like the food at Supermax, either, since eating refined foods destroys his “holy temple, my body.”
