Great balls of fire! Angela’s Meatballs, the winning entry in an all-firefighter meatball contest cooked up by North Metro Fire Rescue District’s Lieutenant Don Wiercinksi and Matthew Gintzler, will be added to added to the menu at both Denver Maggiano’s restaurants as of today. And anytime a customer orders the dish, $2 will be donated to Make-A-Wish Colorado.

Maggiano’s is on a roll, because it’s also just extended its “Today & Tomorrow” buy one, get one promotion. Here’s how it works: Come in for meal, choose a $12.95 selection from the chef’s favorite pastas and baked specialties (such entrees as baked ziti & sausage, chicken pesto linguine or Mom’s lasagne), and you’ll get a second entree to take home with you — free. The deal will run through October 28, dine-in only (at both lunch and dinner).

Both Maggiano’s are open seven days for lunch and dinner; for more info call the Denver Pavilions restaurant at 303-260-7707 or the Tech Center outpost at 303-260-7707).
