From collecting dust to national TV.
That’s what happened with a collection of bizarre ’70s classroom posters, which my wife found circa 2011 in a closet of the school where she works as a principal.
Our gallery of the posters was so popular that it spawned not one but two sequels. And this week, they were featured on an episode of @midnight with Chris Hardwick on Comedy Central.
A segment from the twisted game show, on view here, features five images from our original post, with comic contestants riffing on the images to score points.

“What happened between you and Farmer Bill is in the past.”
“You drowned that blind kid, didn’t you?”
“It’s normal for three out of four teens to shit their pants playing basketball.”
“Perhaps there’s information in here that will get us out of this stranger’s basement.”
“How come only the white kids get to play?”
