President Barack Obama will host a healthcare town hall meeting in Grand Junction on Saturday in an attempt to counter disinformation being circulated by citizens who apparently love the fact that millions of people remain uninsured and rates for the rest of us continue to grow at a shocking pace. Lucky for him, he’ll find lots of such dubious rhetoric in G.J. if the video above is any indication. The clip starts off with a lengthy introduction featuring, among other things, excerpts from 1976’s Logan’s Run, a sci-fi flick in which everyone is exterminated at age thirty, before offering footage of an anti-Obamacare rally held in Grand Junction circa late July, at which a picket sign read, “D.N.C. Lies: Grandma Dies.” Enjoy Western Colorado, Mr. President.
