Walking alone in any city — even one as seemingly safe as Boulder — during the early morning hours can lead to bad things.
The latest evidence: a sexual assault on an eighteen-year-old woman making a fast-food run early Saturday morning. Page down to see a sketch of the suspect.
According to the Boulder Police Department, the woman was walking along the 28th Street frontage road at about 4:30 a.m. when she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted. To make matters even worse, an arm she’d broken several weeks ago was snapped again during the assault.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned, green-eyed African-American male wearing glasses. He’s approximately six-feet tall with a three-inch, light-brown afro that may have been supplemented by a hair pick. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a purple shirt with neon-green lettering and khaki pants.
