We recently told you about a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against the Denver Fire Department by former firefighter Camilla VonBurkhardt.
Among many other things, VonBurkhardt maintained that pornographic magazines were left out for her in an effort to reinforce gender prejudices at the DFD — and the City of Denver has authorized a $75,000 payment to settle the case.
This reader maintains that the presence of porn at a workplace supported by taxpayer dollars is objectionable for reasons that go beyond sexual harassment.

Even in their down time at the station, they are still at work “on the clock.” The fact that porn was brought into the station….a local government workplace is totally inappropriate. Firefighters reading or looking at porn while on the clock is not what taxpayers pay them to do!
