Update: Police arrested their suspect, Michael Anthony Renner, this afternoon at a storage locker.

Englewood police conducting a welfare check on a 49-year-old man found his dead body in the 3400 block of South Lincoln Street on Wednesday. They believe the man, whose name hasn’t been released, was the victim of a murder and have identified a suspect in the case: Michael Anthony Renner, 34.

Police have issued a warrant for Renner, who was last seen driving a black Geo Tracker, says Englewood police spokesman Scot Allen. (Anyone with information about where Renner might be is asked to call Englewood police at 303-761-7410).

The name of the victim won’t be released by the Arapaho County Coroner’s Office until next of kin have been notified, possibly later today, Allen adds.
