On Saturday, The Cat’s Pajamas took her mom out for a day of camera shopping. That is, we embarked on the Holiday Boutique Crawl — hosted by eighteen northwest Denver shops — armed only with a camera (not credit cards) in search of the best that our city has to offer. (Including Taz, the very sweet dog who belongs to the Garnet Gecko.)

Alas, eighteen is a lot of places to hit in one afternoon, so we never made it off of West 32nd Avenue. But while we were there, we stopped into Starlet, Dragonfly, Perfect Petal, Frolik and Swank Space. We found beautiful coats and dashing dinnerware, scarves and hats and bags galore. It was a shopping extravaganza.

And that was just before lunch.

Afterward, we went over to Flying Dog Brewery for Fashion Denver’s market, Snow! Filled with more than two dozen local designers, Mamma Cat got to meet Matthew, who runs Fancy Tiger; Mona Lucero of Mona Lucero; and Christa Rost of Lee Alexander Jewelry. Ginger White of the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs was even there getting groovy.
