Homicides aplenty took place in the waning days of 2009, as is clear from our reports about Mile High Murders No. 59, No. 60 and No. 61.

The 62nd victim? Michael Canada, 55, who was reportedly killed in his Edgewater home, at 2547 Harlan Street, by James Alan Clark, 49, described as a homeless man who Canada knew.

Clark remains in the Jefferson County Detention Center, where he’s being held without bond.
