In a safety advisory issued early this morning, the CU-Boulder police have revealed a disturbing and unusual potential crime.
According to the release, a man may have been sexually assaulted by another man late last night in a room at Folsom Field, home of the CU Buffs football team and the largest sporting venue on the sprawling campus.
Look below for the details that have been released by the department thus far.
At about 10:30 p.m., according to information from a third party who spoke with CU-Boulder authorities, a man was with another man who’d asked him to help with rehearsal for a play.

The pair headed to a room at Folsom Field, and during the course of the rehearsal, the man who’d requested assistance allegedly made what’s described as “non-consensual contact with the victim’s genitals.”
The suspect is described as a heavyset Asian male between five-six and five-eight.
The third party contacted CU-Boulder police early this morning, after which the release was issued as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, “a federal law that requires colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to disclose major crime information to prospective and current students and employees,” the CUBPD notes.
