Leroy Wright, 55, has been identified as the victim of a shooting that appears to have taken place this past Friday on the 2100 block of Franklin Street.
At this point, the Denver Police Department isn’t offering any information about possible suspects, or much of anything else.
All we know thus far is that the DPD responded to a report about a shooting at around 8:20 p.m. on March 9. There, they found a man who’s now been ID’d by the Denver coroner’s office as Wright. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and while he survived the trip to Denver Health Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to phone Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). In the meantime, look below to see an interactive graphic of the area near the scene. If you have problems seeing the image, click “View Larger Map.”
