The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, the nicknaming kings of local law enforcement, have another scofflaw on their radar: the JV Bandit, who earned his handle for wearing a letter jacket on one of his jobs.

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) responded to a bank robbery which occurred onTuesday, July 13, 2010 at approximately 5:45 p.m. at the
1st Bank 4350 Wadsworth Blvd. Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80030
The suspect is described as a white male in the attached photographs.
The suspect handed the teller a note which stated that he had a gun and demanded money.
The robber left on foot and was last seen calmly walking south bound in the parking lot until out of sight.
The investigation has revealed that this same person is responsible for three previous robberies:

In the U.S. Bank robbery the described male was wearing a “Letter Jacket” because of the letter jacket the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force has dubbed the bank robber the “JV Bandit.”
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20 year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
