The Aurora Police Department is guarding details of a death on the 17300 block of East Adriatic Drive late last week. About all the APD has issued to date are basics about victim Juan Gerardo Miranda-Hernandez, 28, and the fact that the case is being investigated as a homicide. Police Seek Help with Homicide Investigation, Offer RewardAurora, Colo. — Aurora Police are requesting the public’s help and offering up to a $2,000 reward in connection with the death of a man who was discovered yesterday by a family member.
On Thursday, November 4, 2010, shortly after 11 a.m., officers responded to an unknown problem at an apartment complex in the 17300 block of E. Adriatic Drive. Responding officers arrived, entered the apartment, and located the deceased man. Officers secured the location, contacted potential witnesses and requested assistance from investigators.
Detectives from the Major Crime Unit (MCU) and personnel with the Crime Scene Investigation Unit (CSI) responded to crime scene to take charge of the investigation.
Today, the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Juan Gerardo Miranda-Hernandez.
Police are offering up to a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of Miranda-Hernandez.
