The Denver Coroner’s Office has released information on homicides in the city during the final quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010 — January through March. And while there certainly has been no shortage of bloodshed during our current year, the end of last year was worse.
The comparison: Seventeen homicides versus six.
Look below to see coroner’s office charts including the basic information about each victim, including time and cause of death, for these two time periods. And hope that the violence in the city continues its downward trend.
