The Denver Police Department didn’t immediately brand a death that took place in Green Valley Ranch late Tuesday night as a crime.
But now, the DPD is investigating it as a homicide.
The details about what took place remain scarce at this writing — but here’s what we know thus far.

CBS4 notes that the victim was found at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday laying in the street. He was dead upon the arrival of police, as pointed out in the tweet above.
Witnesses didn’t hear arguing or gunshots leading up to this grisly discovery, but the body is said to have sported visible injuries.
Thus far, the Denver coroner’s office has neither identified the victim nor pinned down a cause of death. However, the DPD is convinced it wasn’t an accident, as witnessed by this tweet:

No suspect information has been released to date and no arrests have been announced.
