Former Colorado House speaker Andrew Romanoff hasn’t officially announced his intention to challenge Bill Ritter appointee/fellow Democrat Michael Bennet in the 2010 race for the U.S. Senate. But the mere prospect that he may do so has prompted national media coverage — and his activities this weekend will only fuel speculation about when, not if, he’ll formalize his interest.
