Caspa — the dubstep phenom known to his mom and dad as Gary McCann, and known otherwise to everybody else as the Dopest Ghost in Town — is bringing his bass-banging dance extravaganza to the Fillmore with Flosstradamus, Nadastrom and Sinden. Caspa is one of the premier names in dubstep. His Dub Police label has been home to not only a slew of his original productions, but also some excellent tracks from Rusko, the Others and L-Wiz. The U.K. producer/DJ mixed one of the first big dubstep compilations, and he’s lent his remix skills to everyone from Deadmau5 to Ludacris. His tough, minimal and dirty dubstep aesthetic puts the focus squarely on raw, abrasive synth textures, gut-punching bass and snappy, energetic beats.
