Born in Chicago in 2004 as a duo, Walter Meego (playing the Larimer Lounge tonight with ManCub and C.S.Q.) makes the kind of sweet and accessible electronic pop perfect for the television medium — which, as it turns out, is where the now-trio received initial mass exposure.
But after being featured on Ugly Betty and a Heineken commercial, Walter Meego kept on, producing its second album, last year’s Wondervalley, a collection of almost-disco throwbacks and glossy dance tracks. This show is twenty-one and up, and tickets are $8-10. Doors open at 8 p.m., and sets begin at 8:30 p.m.
