You might not recognize former Denverite Duncan Barlow (d.biddle), with his baby face in the video above, but the d.biddle frontman was once a young, restless, youthful guitarist in the rather remarkable hardcore group called Endpoint. The band broke up in 1994, and Duncan moved to Denver sometime after. Despite a vow not to, the band has announced plans to reunite this May.
Unfortunately, the reunion isn’t here in Denver, but rather in the bands’ hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, at Headliners Music Hall. Originally, it was to be a one-night affair, but due to increased demand, the band just announced a second show, with tickets going on sale this Friday, March 26 on TicketWeb at 8:00 AM for the show on May 15.

The band apologized for backtracking on its 1994 statement to never reunite, but decided to go ahead with it to help benefit friend and fellow rocker Jason Noble (Shipping News, Rachel’s, Rodan) in his battle to recoup the costs of cancer treatments. It’s a noble cause, if we ever heard one, and certainly one worth reuniting for.
Anyone up for a road trip to Kentucky now that tickets are available?
