In addition to the activity at the National Western Complex over the weekend, Riot Fest helped facilitate a series of after-shows, featuring some of the festival’s biggest names playing in venues around town. Among the most successful (and compelling) of those was Thrice’s Friday night appearance at Summit Music Hall. It was the band’s first Colorado show since going on hiatus in 2012, and both the band and the crowd were ready for a comeback.
