For the past ten years, the Caffeine Music & Arts Festival has been the spring break destination for lovers of dance music across the state. And this year will prove no exception: Event organizers have booked several of last year’s headliners, including Dave Aude, Jon Bishop and DJ Micro, all of whom threw down booty-shaking sets in 2009, but they’ve also added impressive old-school godfather of house Richard Vission (aka the DJ formerly known as Humpty). Add to that mix local heavyweights Dragon, Trajikk, Hycloud and Kostas, plus longtime guest stars like drum-and-bass DJ Mystical, all working their magic on five stages in the newly renovated 1stBank Center, and you’ve got yet another can’t-miss spring party that’s bound to be one of the best of the decade.
