Skate City Arvada, formerly known as US on Wheels, is an old-school roller-skating rink with a price that’s hard to beat. A two-hour skating session is only $5, and it’s $1.50 for each additional session after that. Classes are available for all age levels, and discounts are offered for group outings.

Littleton’s South Suburban Ice Arena is open year-round and features two ice rinks. Leagues of all ages skate here; lessons are also available. And the price is hard to beat — for less than $5, Littleton residents can take part in the year-round free skate. (The cost is $6.75 for non-residents.)
