Waffle Brothers isn’t just “serving one warm waffle at a time” to Denverites. As of late last night, Boulder fans are also basking in the sweet aroma of waffles hot off the iron.
January 12 marked the official grand opening of a Waffle Brothers store on the Hill in Boulder, a sibling to the Waffle Brothers at 303 Corona in Denver.
Rod Dupen and John Power are not brothers, but they’re partners in both locations, having fine-tuned their Belgian waffle concept with a cart. And that preparation paid off. The Boulder spot is already buzzing with customers, says Dupen. “There’s John, myself and we’ve hired a staff,” Dupen said. “We’ll be up to the Boulder location every now and again.”
Stop by 1326 College Avenue for a morning meal or breakfast before bed — unlike the Denver store, the Boulder location is open late, until 2:30 a.m.
