Citron New World Bistro, 3535 South Yosemite Street, is jumping on the wine-dinner bandwagon tonight with a meal showcasing West Coast wines — including sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon and riesling — paired with lamb, scallops, duck, filet mignon and fruit tacos for dessert. The dinner is $45 and starts at 6:30 p.m.; call 303-771-5800 or visit www.citronbistro.com.

If you’d rather nibble than bite, there’s also a benefit wine-tasting event.

Park Hill Golf Club, 4141 East 35th Avenue, and Argonaut Liquors have teamed up for a Napa & Sonoma Wine Tasting benefit for the Positive Project. Sample premium wines by some of Napa and Sonoma’s top winemakers, with heavy appetizers. It runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and costs $30 in advance or $35 at the door; call 303-831-7788.
