It’s almost the end of summer, which means soon it won’t be warm enough to eat outside. That’s the idea behind tonight’s Feast in the Field — al fresco dining at its best, with live music accompanying an all-Colorado meal from 6 to 9 p.m.
Almost twenty Colorado chefs have put together this meal; there will also be Colorado beer and wine, and some of the food will be harvested from the Gardens’ own vegetable patch.
As you stroll through the Gardens at Chatfield, you’ll pick up dishes at each tent (bring your own picnic basket with plates, silverware and glasses). Tickets are $100 to $150, and the proceeds will benefit the Colorado Chefs Association Education Fund. For more details, call 303-973-3705 or go to www.botanicgardens.org.
