Nico Eymar — or Nico the Frenchie, as his regulars know him — has been a bartender/server at Rioja for over seven years. Last Friday, he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that will require at least three months to recover from.
So his colleagues and friends are hosting a benefit tonight at Euclid Hall, 1317 14th Street, to help support Nico’s wife and two boys during this difficult time.
The event takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and features food from Rioja executive chef Jennifer Jasinski paired with wines. There will be silent auctions as well; tickets cost $47 per person at the door.
