Le Central, 112 East Eighth Avenue, has been offering prix-fixe meals all month inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert’s novel and the movie Eat, Pray, Love. Today, the restaurant rolls out a menu of dishes based on Gilbert’s trip to India, available through Sunday, August 29. Keep reading to see what Le Central is dishing up:
First course: spinach salad with roasted garlic, curried cucumbers and lemon juice.
Second course: braised lamb with potatoes, onions, carrots, celery and garam masala.
Third course: gulab jamun, an Indian version of baba au rhum.
