Le Central bills itself as the “affordable French restaurant.” While some might find that description terribly bourgeois, we dare you to find any other spot in town that offers a three-course culinary lesson and meal for a mere $26.
Tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Le Central, 112 East Eighth Avenue, you can learn to create this meal — and then enjoy it for yourself:
Hors d’ouevre: Assiette Mediterranene — eggplant caviar, hummus, muhammara and cucumber-mint salad.
Le Plat Principal: Poulet aux herbes — a roasted, salted and herb-crusted whole (free-range) chicken served over diced carrots, celery and onions.
