is the glass half-empty or half-full? Tonight it’s overflowing, with a trio of wine-related events.
First up: The Tennyson Center for Children will be the beneficiary of a wine-tasting at Morton’s, 1710 Wynkoop Street, that runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and costs $150; included in the cost is a silent auction, amazing food, the chance to meet select vintners and, of course, wine. For tickets, call 720-855-3316.
Or head to Frasca Food & Wine, 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder, where this round of the Monday Night Wine Dinner features Robert Weil, presenting the wines of Germany’s Weingut Robert Weil. Admission is $45, not including wine pairings; for more info, call 303-442-6966 or visit www.frascafoodandwine.com.
And starting at 6:30 p.m., Solera, 5410 East Colfax Avenue, will host a Simi Wine Dinner with wine-maker Steve Reeder that pairs five of chef/owner Goose Sorensen’s courses (including Colorado lamb loin, pan-roasted sea bass and braised veal cheeks) with wine. Dinner is $70, for details call 303-388-8429 or go to www.solerarestaurant.com.
