You might know Mark Kurlansky as the man who penned the non-fictino Salt: A World History and Cod: A Biography of the Fish that Changed the World. His latest effort, Edible Stories: A Novel in Sixteen Parts, is (as the title suggests) a venture into the world of fiction, with small-bite chapters linked through the overarching theme of food.
At 7:30 p.m. tonight, Kurlansky will discuss and sign Edible Stories at the Boulder Book Store, 1107 Pearl Street. For more info, call 303-447-2074 or visit www.boulderbookstore.com.
And if you can’t make it up to the People’s Republic tonight, then take note: Tomorrow night, the Tattered Cover Highlands Ranch, 9315 Dorchester Street in Highlands Ranch, hosts Kurlansky at 7:30 p.m. Call 303-470-7050 or visit www.tatteredcover.com.
