In her review of The Kitchen Denver, Gretchen Kurtz said she missed the sense of community that’s such a hallmark of the original Kitchen in Boulder, as well as its offshoots there.

And now the The Kitchen [Upstairs] is just bringing even more community to Boulder, with a monthly Community Chef Night that features the “food and cooking of like-minded chefs and restaurants from the local Boulder and Denver community.”

The first is this Sunday, September 16, and will highlight Basta – A Wood Fire Eatery + Pizzeria. Basta chef/owner Kelly Whitaker will share a selection of his menu favorites with wine, beer and cocktail recommendations from the Kitchen [Upstairs].
