The food truck row at Dish — Westword‘s eighteenth annual food-and-drink event taking place in Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex next Thursday, September 6 — is full of stars this year: Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs, Comida, Mestizo’s, Waffle Brothers, Hey PB&J, Basic Kneads…
And Crock Spot — here’s what the slow-cooking truck will be dishing up.
Owners/chefs: Mandy Birks and Stephen Daniels
What will you be serving at Dish? We have a “build-a-bowl” menu out of the truck, but for Dish, we’re sampling two of our fans’ favorite combinations: jasmine fried rice and savory pulled pork topped with chimichurri; and pearled barley with vegan-curried lentils and Hominy topped with Sriracha sour cream.

We’re aiming to raise $50,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community. If Westword matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
What’s your favorite dish on your menu? Currently, from our full menu, our favorite is duck confit over couscous topped with Portobello mushrooms and Esteban’s Yucatan hot sauce. But out of the options we’ll be serving at Dish? The pulled pork bowl!
