Monday, March 11:

Andrew Novick’s Sweet Tooth: 1000 Photographs of Desserts (that I ate) is now on display at The Shoppe, 3103 East Colfax Avenue. Novick has been shooting pictures of desserts for at least twenty years, and many of them decorate a twenty-by-eighteen-foot wall at the cupcake shop in conjunction with Month of Photography. The Apres Ski Cocktail Classic begins today and runs through Sunday, March 17 in Aspen. The celebration of mixology includes seminars and tastings; visit the website for a full schedule and to purchase tickets.

Friday, March 15:

Fado Irish Pub, 1735 19th Street, is hosting charity event benefiting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation today; thousands of volunteers will have their heads shaved in solidarity with children with cancer; donation will be accepted and the pub will also donate 20 percent of all food sales during the event.
