Sweet Cow, an award-winning local enterprise devoted to ice cream, will open its third store today, this one in north Boulder.

The first shop opened in Louisville three years ago, and we quickly named it Best Ice Cream in the Best of Denver 2011. Sweet Cow opened a second store in the West Highland neighborhood of Denver last year.
The north Boulder location, at 2628 Broadway, is across from Boulder Community Hospital. Like the other two shops, the Boulder store will feature 22 ice cream flavors, all made with local ingredients. It’s open Friday through Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday from noon to to 9 p.m.
