Scottie Ewing, who last year opened the Sugar House (a nightclub/martini lounge billed on its website as “the classy Denver Colorado swinger club”) at 1395 West Alameda Avenue, now has something else cooking there: the Sugar House Grill.
The restaurant adjunct to the lounge just opened yesterday, after a couple of test lunches and happy hours, with the former kitchen manager of the now defunct Steak and Ale in charge. But Ewing is keeping his hand in the project, too. “I’m a closet gourmet cook/chef,” he explains.
Tonight at 9 p.m., the Sugar House hosts Chillll Night in the lounge, with $5 you-call-its; for more information and restaurant hours, call 303-777-9900.
