We haven’t heard a lot about problems in LoDo at Letout lately — but that doesn’t mean the problems have gone away. Early on Sunday, February 8, Dusten Fischer was stabbed nine times when he got into an altercation in the 1900 block of Market Street. Fischer and his wife, Ashleigh, are expecting a baby this week; in the meantime, Fischer is hospitalized at Denver Health, with a long rehab ahead of him. The couple is trying to raise money for his care — and others are once again looking for a solution to the crowds and chaos that sometimes erupt at Letout.
Says Bengy:
This ain’t no choir town. And if Denver were smart, they would increase the 2am to 4am or make it a 24 hour city. Then you have less people intoxicated or in the streets all at once. In turn less issues!!!
What you think of expanding bar hours? The proposal came up at the Colorado Legislature last year; should lawmakers consider it again? Post your thoughts in our comments section.
