Summertime, and the living is easy…but finding good guacamole is not. The tortas were not the only disappointing dish at Ay Caramba!, which Gretchen Kurtz reviewed last week; the guac was also bland and boring.
Who serves the best guacamole in town? One reader is on a hunt for that answer.

Here’s a suggestion from denver dave:
I am pretty much always disappointed when I order guacamole out because it so easy to make great guac at home BUT I have to say that the guac I had recently at Adelita’s was amazingly good and a big portion of all guac not just three tablespoonfuls on a bunch of shredded lettuce.
Adelitas opened just last month at 1294 South Broadway; in addition to good guac, it has two happy hours every day, including one that runs from 10 p.m. to midnight.
