Lachlan Mackinnon Patterson and Bobby Stuckey, founders of Frasca Food and Wine, opened Pizzeria Locale right next door in 2011. That’s when they also opened Caffe, but that space was closed at the end of the year; it will become a private event space for both Frasca and Locale, and also work as overflow seeing for Locale. The conversion should be complete in February.

A second Locale opened in Denver last May, but it’s based on a fast-casual concept — and, in fact, Chipotle founder Steve Ells is a partner in the project.
