Since Moe’s Original Bar B Que came down from the mountains, it’s been extending its reach in Denver. Its first location here was at 3295 South Broadway in Englewood, by the Gothic, where it added bowling to the ‘cue that had proved so popular in the Vail Valley, where it was founded by three Alabama boys.
And when Moe’s opened a brand-new spot in Aurora last week — a a former Walgreen’s at 2727 South Parker Road — bowling was as big a part of the mix as barbecue. This Moe’s has eight bowling lanes, as well as an arcade, in addition to a big dining room and bar. Moe’s now has four locations in metro Denver: There are bowling-free restaurants at 530 Broadway and 2589 South Lewis Way in Lakewood.
