The billboard that appeared a few weeks ago was just a tease; as this morning’s drive-by view of the future LoHi SteakBar shows, the project has a long way to go before chef/partner Sean Kelly can serve up a nice, medium-rare sirloin in the building at 3200 Tejon Street that once held North Star Brewery.

Next hurdle: a June 2 hearing with the city over a proposed sign.
