Hoot and Howl is now open in the former Twisted Olive space in Northfield Stapleton. The restaurant has made live music a major part of its menu, with open-mic nights and karaoke on a weekly basis, and it put on quite a show of local acts at its grand opening this past weekend.

While Hoot and Howl is focusing on such basics as burgers, a sibling restaurant, Sal’s Street Food & Sushi, will soon open in the same space, with an emphasis on street food and “stuff it!” options.
Hoot and Howl also featurs some appetizing deals. From Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the bar is serving up $1 pints, $2 domestic bottles, $3 wells and half-priced appetizers. Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to midnight, the same deals apply at the establishment’s “Moonlight Hour.” And for now, the place promises to be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. — which could come in handy in that neighborhood.
