There were two interesting components to my meal at this Indian restaurant: a server who recommended a Tibetan dish that, he said, was laced with chiles “that were nothing like Texas-style chili” (WTF?) and the deep-fried naan, which would probably be a huge hit in Texas. Nonetheless, I’ll continue to pledge my allegiance to tandoori-slapped naan, thank you very much.
