Govinda’s Buffet, 1400 Cherry Street, reopened this year after an almost year-long hiatus, serving up a vegetarian spread on Friday and Saturday nights.
And there’s more good news coming: Govinda’s just announced yesterday that it will be bringing back lunch hours In 2011.
The lunch menu will feature Govinda’s full salad bar, housemade dressings, whole wheat bread and vegetable soup, plus a traditional dahl, steamed vegetables, white rice, brown rice, a subji veggie dish and halavah for dessert. You can enjoy all-you-can-eat soup, salad and bread for $6, or fork over $8 for the full buffet.
The Govinda’s buffet is closed through Monday, January 3, and will re-open Tuesday, January 4, with the new lunch hours: from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays. To find out more details — and see what the buffet will feature this week — go to www.govindasdenver.com.
