We miss American Costume Company, our go-to spot for all our party and costume needs until the longtime LoDo business closed its doors last year. But we’re optimistic about what’s happening to its former home. After many, many months of renovation, it looks like the Blake Street Vault will be opening soon. (For a history of this great Victorian building, click here.)

This 1500 block of Blake has become a mini restaurant row, so it’s good news that in addition to upstairs offices, the Vault will hold a restaurant/bar that honors the area’s history while also-offering forward-looking food and drink. Look for it to open mid-August.
