Although plans for the Colorado Cocktail Contest, which will culminate in a two-day event in June at Denver’s Museum of Contemporary Art, are fairly fluid right now, one event is solid: On Monday evening, the contest will kick off with a private party at the MCA, where bartenders will mix it up with some of this state’s most spirited distillers. Any member of the Colorado Distillers Guild and the Colorado Bartenders Guild, co-sponsors of the contest (along with the MCA and Westword), is welcome (RSVP to your guild), and on Wednesday, we invited Cafe Society readers to enter our own contest to win a pair of tickets:
