Brothers Hanzel and Eder Yáñez won fans quickly with the authentic Pueblan fare they served at Chili Verde, the restaurant they opened in LoHi in the summer of 2009. But running the place turned out to be bumpier than importing their mother’s recipes to Denver. In December 2011, a kitchen fire closed the restaurant for weeks. And this past December, they decided to close up altogether…at least in this location. Dear Friends,Happy New Year! As we bring in the new year, we have decided not to renew our lease AT THIS LOCATION. We are currently closed while looking for a new location to better serve you. As of yet have not found our new home. It was a hard decision to close without a new home but we needed to take the opportunity as it presented itself. We will be posting updates on Facebook and our website as soon as soon as we find our new home. If you have any suggestions on available restaurant sites please email us at manager@chiliverde.net. Please stay tuned…. We miss you already!
