Monday is traditionally a slow day in the restaurant business. And Adelitas Cocina y Cantina, which opened at 1294 South Broadway in May, has come up with a new lesson plan to liven things up on Mondays: It wants to team with local schools on that day, when it will donate 10 percent of all food sales back to schools it’s partnered with.
